Recall school-board members Haines, Heffron and Bailey. After all the damage they’ve done, there simply won’t be anything left if we don’t get them out now.
Those friendly-looking pictures don’t reveal how drastically these three have downsized our children’s futures. Their insanely-irresponsible attendance policy which allowed students to skip all their classes for a year and a third has resulted in the single-greatest drop in the level of student education that Chesterfield has ever seen. (Don’t let them tell you that the Pandemic made them do it: during that same time period Hanover students never missed a beat.) Our kids will now be far less competitive in college than their peers from places like Hanover – places where school boards didn’t allow the self-destructive obsession with “equity” to blind them to their real responsibility: preparing students for the future.

Common-Sense Minded Chesterfield Citizens who want to Restore Common Sense to our Schools
Kathryn Haines, Dorothy Heffron and Debbie Bailey are the Chesterfield County School Board Members who are most responsible for pushing our school system to embrace the "Equity" agenda--an agenda that is euphemistically called “Imagine Tomorrow” in CCPS, but that is more correctly called “Critical Race Theory” (CRT) in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. CRT is the democracy-destroying brainchild of Ibram Kendi (see the NY Post article describing Kendi as “the false prophet of a dangerous and lucrative faith”). CRT seeks to replace the fundamentally American goal of equality of opportunity with the fundamentally Communist goal of equality of outcome. The danger CRT poses to the future of American democracy cannot be overstated.
The pernicious and dangerous influence of CRT must be uprooted from our schools. The most effective way to do that here in Chesterfield is to recall CCPS' three most vocal School Board advocates of CRT--Kathryn Haines, Dorothy Heffron and Debbie Bailey.
Settled as a “NONSUIT” because the County’s high-priced attorneys used innumerable technicalities to defend the proposition that those in charge of a school system can, without penalty, enable 60,000 students to be truant, whereas any individual citizen who does the same with only a single student is subject to being charged with a Class 1 misdemeanor (punishable by up to one year in prison).

Both the Observer and the Richmond Times-Dispatch were notified on 8/14 that this school board recall process had been legally initiated, but neither newspaper has chosen to publish this fact (even though the school-board recall process in Northern Virginia has been front-page news in all national newspapers for weeks).

I am Samuel Peters, parent of a current 12th grader in CCPS as well as a physics teacher in CCPS. I have been waging a campaign to fend off the devastation that CRT advocates have wreaked upon our school system over the past year and a half.
